Amazing Grace Unleashed
The spiritual, Amazing Grace, was written by John Newton (1725-1807), a slave ship captain who, after years of transporting slaves across the Atlantic Ocean to the New World, suddenly saw through divine grace the evilness of his acts. First published in 1835 by William Walker in The Southern Harmony, Amazing Grace has since grown to become one of the most beloved of all American spirituals.

Mr. APTED: But, you know, there was a very interesting dilemma, because 30 miles away, there was the French Revolution. And so it wasn't just the kind of reactionary conservativism and people like Tarleton, who is Ciaran Hinds, but also the fear that if you unleashed public opinion, you might end up with the guillotine in Hyde Park Corner, and everybody having their heads chopped off.
Mr. METAXAS: Three days before he died, on his deathbed. It's right out of a movie, except - that'll have to be Michael's next movie. My goodness, I wish you would do it, because this film is fantastic, and I have no interest in it. I have no stock in the movie. But to distill all of this into a film is amazing.
This is what your Savior was appointed to do. This was his redemptive job description. This was the only way for forgiveness to be granted, eternal life to be given, righteousness to be granted, acceptance with God to be guaranteed, and saving grace to be unleashed. He came willingly and did it all without the faintest grumble or the smallest complaint. Jesus knew that his suffering would be temporary but the fruit would be eternal, and he was willing.

At Centerpoint Church, we are a community of believers impacted by God's saving grace and the love He demonstrated in Jesus Christ. Our response to this amazing grace is to allow it to transform our lives and to share it with others. As a body of believers, we find our purpose in knowing Christ, growing together, and reaching beyond ourselves to help others do the same.
In fact, music spun out in such a kaleidoscopic blur of colour and quality, like a light show scattered in a spectrum from a disco ball, that monolithic albums such as The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars peaked at a mere 75 in the US charts. Now, that might seem so incredulous that it could cause the nervous minded to fart, but when you consider that the Rolling Stones released Exile on Main St., Neil Young dropped Harvest, Curtis Mayfield laid down the groove on Super Fly, Bill Withers put out arguably his best with Still Bill and Aretha Franklin unleashed one of the greatest live albums ever with Amazing Grace, people were hardly pining for, well, anything at all. 041b061a72
